Our Last Quarterly Meeting
Sep19 feature imageOur last quarterly meeting was originally scheduled for September 5th, but was delayed to September 19th because of a threatening hurricane. How appropriate since our speaker was Mark Willis, an expert in tropical weather and storms. Mark is currently the Meteorologist-in-Charge at our National Weather Service Wilmington office at ILM. He has extensive forecasting experience on both of our coasts, including three years at Morehead City. Prior to taking over the ILM office, he was Chief Meteorologist for Surfline, Inc, a company providing ocean and wave forecasts for surfers worldwide. It was a great presentation and well appreciated by all who attended. Thanks, Mark!
